Prior to joining Malvern Physiotherapy Clinic, Hayley worked as a womens and mens health focused physiotherapist. Throughout this time, she was also treating other musculoskeletal injuries as well using her Clinical Pilates training to enhance strength and function. Since graduating from Melbourne University in 2011, she has completed a post-graduate qualification in Continence and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, as well as undertaking further study in Pilates, sports injuries and back pain. She enjoys working with clients of all ages to achieve their life and sporting goals.
Hayley is qualified to assist with those who are experiencing issues with their bladder or bowel, incontinence, pain in their pelvis or pelvic floor muscles. Additionally, she has many years’ experience working with pre- and post-natal women to manage the physical challenges of these special phases of a woman’s life.
Her interests in treating joint and muscle injuries stem from her passion in participating in sports over many years, primarily triathlon, flat water kayaking and netball. She understands the rehabilitation process – from both physiotherapy and personal perspectives – and is always looking to help clients get back to their best.
Hayley is a keen advocate of Clinical Pilates to address specific injuries and weaknesses, as well as promoting overall well-being. Hayley also runs the Pre/Post-Natal Clinical Pilates classes.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys running, good coffee, and catching up with friends.
